May 01, 2013 Highlights Originally numerical simulation had a difficulty to be applied to bead mills. This is because the modeling is so complex and it needs excessive calculation costs. We developed the three-dimensional DEMMPS method for the simulations. We apply the DEMMPS method to the bead mill and demonstrate the validity. The DEMMPS method is shown to be applied to the bead mill.
